Terms of Service — MathWake

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MathWake mobile application ("the app", "MathWake"). By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License to Use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use MathWake for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you obtained the app.

3. Alarm Reliability & Your Responsibility

MathWake is designed to be a loud, reliable alarm, but no alarm app can be guaranteed to work in every situation. Operating system limitations, battery optimization, "Do Not Disturb" or Focus modes, silent/low-volume settings, force-closing the app, low battery, device malfunctions and other factors may prevent an alarm from sounding.

You are solely responsible for waking up on time and should not rely on MathWake alone for any critical wake-up event. We strongly recommend keeping a backup alarm for important occasions. We are not liable for any missed alarm, oversleeping or any resulting consequences.

4. Purchases & Subscriptions

MathWake offers an optional Premium upgrade as an in-app purchase. Pricing is shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account, and all billing is handled by Apple. Purchases are subject to Apple's terms, and refunds are handled according to Apple's policies — please contact Apple Support for refund requests.

If your purchase is a subscription, it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. You may restore previous purchases using the in-app "Restore" option.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where permitted by law.
Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its related services.
Resell, redistribute or sublicense the app or any of its content.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, code, branding, sounds, missions, text and graphics, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the app.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, reliability or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app — including, without limitation, any missed alarm or oversleeping. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
